Laugh of the Day -Trey Songz Pimp Slaps Rob Kardashian

Ok…when I first heard about this story, I couldn’t help but laugh at the visual of Rob Kardashian being slapped by Trey Songz. Now MediaTakeOut is not the most reliable source, but hey - the Huffington Post also reported it saying that the MTO source was extremely reliable.

Anyway, I actually heard it from Gary with the Tea (Rickey Smiley Morning Show) this morning while I was getting ready for work. Word is, Rob and Scott (Kourtney Kardashian’s babydaddy) were filming for the new season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and were in MOVIDA, a London nightclub when they ran into Trey.

Casual Friday: High Bun & Headband

Fridays at work mean one thing - jeans! Well, I wear jeans throughout the week…but on Friday, I can wear a more casual top. So, in celebration of the weekend, I decided to add a little spice to my hair and wear one of my favorite headbands. Cheers to the weekend!

 

Phaedra Suing VIBE Magazine

I wrote about this on The Jasmine Brand (click here to read my post) but I couldn’t really state my opinion like I can on my site. So, I HAD to repost with my two cents (yeah, you care LOL). I heard about the whole book release a few months ago so I wasn’t really surprised to see Phaedra following up with legal action. For those of you who don’t know, let me give you a little background information.

I’ve Been Putting In Work!

If you haven’t noticed by now, I’ve been referencing The Jasmine Brand a lot on the site and most recently, the first episode of Jessica Simien TV. Not to mention I have a professional job and a public relations business on the side. Needless to say, I have a lot on my plate but I know it’s going to be worth it all one day…soon.

I wanted to share this because it’s so important to actually WORK toward your dreams. We may not ever reach every dream and goal we have, but just thinking about certainly isn’t going to do anything. You have to put forth some type of action.

I’ll continue working hard and I encourage you to do the same. You never know how close you are to success!
