Two-strand Twist Protective Style

Even though I’ve been 100% natural for over a year now, I still have my moments when I feel like a total newbie. Like this morning for instance. The humidity has been KILLING my style ideas lately. My twist-outs look like afro wigs by the end of my work day. *sigh*

Last year around this time, I was recovering from my big chop and could wet my hair, add a little conditioner/cholesterol and a flower and go about my day. If only I were that lucky now. *another sigh, this time a deep one* Longer natural hair means more time in the bathroom mirror trying to get it to “act” right.

Review [Movie]: Marvel’s The Avengers

I forgot to post that I got a chance to see The Avenger’s Tuesday (or Monday…can’t remember exactly) of last week. I enjoyed it, but I think people kind of hyped it up more than it deserved. I loved the characters and the special effects, it just wasn’t as good as I expected and anticipated it to be.

The box office seems to say different though. The movie has earned a reported $1 billion worldwide.

Has Social Media Ever Gotten YOU In Trouble?

You’ve seen the tweets. Some people make it a part of their daily Twitter habit to post something about how Twitter can ruin a relationship, how you can’t follow your significant other and all other types of sayings. Then you have others who take the “it’s just Twitter” approach. It makes me question how many of us have actually gotten caught up in Twitter drama with our significant others.

As for my stance on the debate, I disagree with both of the arguments above.
