100 In A Year :: Task 91, Go To A St. Patrick’s Day Parade (PHOTOS)

Happy St. Paddy’s Day!

I was able to complete Task 91 from my 100 In A Year list Saturday, which was to go to a St. Patrick’s Day parade. The annual Mal’s St. Paddy’s Day Parade in my hometown is a big deal (actually it’s one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the country) so I decided to check it out since I’ve never been.

I took my niece and two of our family friends with me and between meeting people, dancing to music and attempting to catch beads, we had a blast. Local news station WAPT reports that over 80,000 people came out for the parade.
