Grace Bush can check off two major accomplishments in her life.
At 16, the Florida teen has graduated high school and college in the same week – and she actually completed college first!
Bush received her degree from Florida Atlantic University on Friday with an impressive 3.8. GPA. She’ll receive her high school diploma this coming Friday from Florida Atlantic University high school.
She was a participant in FAU’s special dual-enrollment program which allows students to obtain college credit for selected high school courses. Bush told CBS Miami that she started at Broward College when she was 13 and was able to finish early because she took summer courses as well.
Grace is the third oldest of nine children in her family and simply followed family tradition. Her two older sisters also did the same thing. One of them has graduated already and the other will graduate in the summer. All the children are home schooled and their parents want them all to participate in the program to save money on tuition.
Grace began reading at age 2 and wants to become chief justice for the United States.
We believe in you Grace!
