Whit’s Wisdom: It’s Your Season To Bloom

Growth is a beautiful thing. My 3 month old God-baby is the perfect illustration of spring. Already, I’ve seen her change lives and make the people around her grow closer. She’s blooming right before our eyes.

It’s amazing to see her develop. I was reading one of those development books on what to expect from week to week as your baby grows. The book also gives tips on what you can do to influence positive growth so the child can flourish. Just like a new baby, we have to have people around us willing to invest in us. We are like seeds. We have to be watered so we can bloom beautifully.

In the relationships you have or the new relationship you are in, you have to invest yourself. You have to water it. Remember, you reap what you sow!

Every chance I get with my Godchild I plan to educate, motivate, and tell her how rare and priceless she is. This new spring season I’m encouraging you to nurture the growth process in the lives of others and whenever you get a chance to influence in a positive way, do so. There is a verse in the Holy Bible that gives confirmation on positive growth:

They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. (Psalm 1:3 NLT)

Encourage yourself to be treelike. If you stay planted in positiveness, you can prosper and bloom into anything. To bloom means to come into full beauty. It’s your season to bloom! Whether it’s a new baby, a new relationship or marriage, family, friends, and even your job… Water it so it can bloom beautifully!

Keep pressing, it’s your season!
