We’ve heard the phrase before, the greater the challenge, the greater the reward. It simply means that if you put your best in, the results will be gratifying.
Whatever it is that you’re working towards, keep your eyes on the prize.
I was talking with a friend. He said he hates the phrase “you gotta crawl before you walk.” My rebuttal was that the greater the challenge, the greater the reward. I don’t remember how I felt when I learned to walk, but I can imagine I felt accomplished to be able to get around faster, changing my vantage point. And I’m sure it was rewarding to perfect my new stride.
I remember the positive and negative challenges I faced in college. Those challenges made walking across the stage one of the best moments of my life.
If your challenge is weight loss, keep working out, your new body will be worth the work! If you’re working hard for that promotion, keep grinding! Eventually, your hard work will pay off, even if it’s not with the same company. If you’re in a long distance relationship, hold on to each other. Absence does make the heart grow fonder. If you’re becoming more spiritual and abstaining from old habits or addictions, stay disciplined!. It will give you peace of mind.
Be encouraged by your present situation and visualize the finish line!
As always, keep pressing.
