Whit Wisdom: Thanksgiving 365

With Thanksgiving just around the corner I want to encourage you to have an attitude of gratitude. Not only during the holiday season, but every single day of the year.

If you find yourself at your lowest point and you can’t seem to think of anything to be thankful for let me give you something: YOU ARE HERE. And I don’t know what your personal faith and spirituality consists of, but as and when you’re blessed to be alive it should serve as a message in your life. You’re here for a reason. And the bright side of not knowing what that reason is, is that you are here to figure it out.

Don’t overcrowd your mind of things you’re lacking or what material things you want this holiday season. The most valuable things to be thankful for are the things that are priceless – life is one of them.

There are studies that show that the most thankful people are the happiest people. Even more, there are studies that show that your gratitude affects your health. Whether you see your glass as half full or half empty, you have a glass and something is in it.
