As a young entrepreneur, I have several responsibilities. I have to maintain my business and deliver on promises I’ve made to my partners, make sure all the fine details are being covered and the list goes on. Oddly enough, what I believe is one of my greatest responsibilities has very little to do with my business.
My greatest responsibility lies in my role as a leader.
Everyday I’m learning more about what life is really about. It’s not so much about what I can gain and do with my time on this Earth…it’s more about what I can do for others and what legacy and impact I can leave for the future. As a leader, it’s up to me to pass on my knowledge and share things with children to help them reach their goals and dreams.
Thanks to J. Lee, I had the privilege of being a guest at Whitten Middle School‘s Career Day Thursday. From the kids asking me questions about my day to day responsibilities to grilling me about my dancing skills and even pressuring me to do the Nae Nae, I enjoyed opening their eyes up to the possibility of owning their own websites and developing the skills to be successful at it.
