This week’s episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta opens up with Mimi discussing her feelings about the bad word tape and how it will affect her daughter, who looks just like Stevie by the way. As Mimi was driving their daughter to Stevie’s house, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the child. She has Stevie J as a Dad, Mimi as a mother and Joseline as a step mother. Don’t get me wrong, Stevie is hilarious and I love Ms. Joseline honey but there’s an innocent child in the mix. It’s not my place to judge them as parents, or people for that matter, but I can’t help but feel a little hurt because of the craziness that’s going on in their lives. Regardless of how scripted the show is the effects are very much real.
Kirk goes along with Rasheeda’s mother’s idea of throwing an apology party for Rasheeda. Bobby V performs at the cookout, which is ironic because he (along with Benzino) was an accomplice in the shenanigans that started this mess in the first place. I’m so proud of Kirk. I’m a little too private about my relationship woes to want an apology party but he did the right thing and shoutout to Benzino for apologizing too. This made me happy!
However, my happiness was short lived as and when Althea popped off for no damn reason. In my head I’m like, “NEWSFLASH! You just got engaged, why you so worried about Karlie?” If I had just said yes and started planning a wedding, I wouldn’t give two f**** about my fiancé’s ex.
Meanwhile, Momma Dee seemed to have turned a new leaf. Not only is her hair looking better these days, she actually held Scrappy accountable for his actions for a change! Yasss Momma Dee! I’m still disturbed that he’s 30 and his mom is doing this for him. You’d think he’d have it together. I’m totally over Scrappy though after how he did Erica P. so I have nothing else to say about him. I wonder why Momma Dee didn’t go to bat for Erica Dixon though…
I think I’ve said enough, check out the episode up top!
