Goodie Mob To Release First Joint Album Since 1999, Apologizes For Hiatus

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Goodie Mob dished on their upcoming album and addressed questions pertaining to the group’s 14-year hiatus.

The group members – CeeLo Green, Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo – shared their experience recording their new album, Age Against the Machine, and CeeLo apologized for making fans wait so long for new material:

“What can I say, we had 14 year hiatus. But we all had individual success, here and there. I’ve gone on to do a couple different things… But what we’re doing is kind of bringing it all back home. And I’m sorry that it’s taken this long. We didn’t mean to be as preoccupied as we ended up being.”

Age Against the Machine is set to be released on August 27th.
