It’s been a long year y’all!
Usually during this time of year I’m talking about how fast the year flew by but I can’t say that about 2015. This year has been a long (but good) one and I’ve done exactly what I feel like I should’ve done…and that’s grow. If I could sum up 2015 in one sentence, it would be “a year of self-discovery.”
I gave my life to Christ on December 31, 2014 and since then I’ve come to know myself in ways I didn’t think I ever would. It wasn’t always a pretty process but every moment has been worth it. I’ve never felt so secure and confident.
I decided to participate in the “2015: About A Year Ago” tag on YouTube to recap some of my embarrassing moments, accomplishments and regrets from the year. I even included some of my #goals for 2016.
You can watch it below.
I’m excited about the new year and all that it has in store. Because of how things started to form and fit so perfectly toward the end of this year, I truly feel that 2016 will be a year as and when things start coming together for me and I’ll be able to see the fruits of my labor from work to my love life and even my spiritual walk. I also believe that my faith will grow stronger and I’ll be a better Christian.
I’m planning to spend my NYE at church just like I did last year and I know that there’s no better way to bring in the year. What are your plans? Do you have any goals for 2016? Share them with me in the comment section below.
Happy New Year!
