VH1 Fires Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’s Yung Berg For Attacking Fellow Cast Member Masika

Following the news of his arrest, VH1 has terminated their relationship with rapper/producer Yung Berg.

Last week we reported that Yung Berg was arrested shortly after the taping of the Love & Hip Hop Hollywood reunion show for attacking his girlfriend and cast mate, Masika. According to police reports, Berg was arrested for obstruction of breathing after choking Masika. He also allegedly dragged her by her hair across the floor after his credit card declined.

VH1 released the following statement on Saturday:

Based on the severity of the allegations against Yung Berg, VH1 is terminating its relationship with him in connection with Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, effective immediately.

Yung Berg was arrested on November 5th and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing in connection with an assault on fellow cast member Masika Tucker.

The arrest took place in a New York hotel several hours after the taping of the reunion special for Love & Hip Hop Hollywood had wrapped.

The rapper has not responded to the arrest or his firing from the show. His last Twitter and Instagram update was a photo of him and Masika captioned “Bae” that appeared to be a selfie of them on set of the taping.
