Two Gay Men Marry In South Africa’s First Traditional Gay Wedding

According to the Huffington Post, two men who have tied the knot in Africa have made history with the nation’s first traditional gay wedding.

Tshepo Cameron Modisane (left) and Thoba Calvin Sithole (right), both 27, were married Saturday in the African town of KwaDukuza in a ceremony with over 200 guests. The couple met three years ago while they were both students.

Gay marriage has been legal in South Africa for six years and according to Modisane, they had the support of their families to help them make the decision.
