Tips For Tailgating With Style

Wanna look cute and tailgate in style? It’s simple!

The trends this season are probably things you already have in your closet like flannel shirts, skater skirts, infinity scarves, cardigans, button down blue jean shirts, a kimono, ripped jeans, skinny leg jeans, knee socks, flats, and danty tennis shoes, combat, knee-high or ankle boots just to name a few.

Homecoming is coming up for many schools and if you haven’t gotten your tailgating wardrobe together, here are a few tips to make sure you look fab while representing for your team.

Style Tip 1

Try pairing a white crop muscle tee, with a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans, ankle boots, and a flannel shirt tied around the waist.

Style Tip 2

A fall color to accentuate your lips (Ruby Woo by MAC paired with Dark Moth lip liner, Heroine by MAC, or Sin by MAC), a little eye liner and mascara can also go a long way!

Style Tip 3

Don’t forget to style your hair however you may choose. It could be anything from bone straight, loose curls, or a high bun.

If you want to show your school spirit, you can still be stylish. Here’s how!

School Spirit Style Tip 1

Pick a school shirt of your choice and pair with a skater skirt (any material like faux leather, denim or cotton) or pair with high-waist pants.

School Spirit Style Tip 2

Pair your ensemble with some dainty white tennis shoes, converse, combat boots or wedges to kick it up a notch.

School Spirit Style Tip 3

Can’t forget your make-up! A little eye liner and mascara works wonder and a nude lip (Fresh Brew by MAC is my fav!) will suffice.

School Spirit Style Tip 4

Your  hair is everything! So style it however you like with the suggestions listed above for guidance.

Don’t forget to have FUN and be Y-O-U! Don’t lose yourself in the trend. YOU wear the clothes, don’t let the clothes wear you!
