Shortly after finalizing her divorce from Keri Lewis, R&B singer Toni Braxton is having to deal with another legal issue.
The 45-year-old songstress has lost the rights to 27 of her songs. In her second bankruptcy case, Braxton was able to negotiate a deal to buy back 27 songs from her catalog for $20,000 but she could lose them if she was outbid. A buyer by the name of Ross M. Klein did just that and doubled Braxton’s buy-back rate, snagging 27 of her songs including “You’re Making Me High.”
Braxton still owns the rights to her most popular song, “Unbreak My Heart,” which was not included in the auction.
