After the 24-year-old singer/actor turned himself in to police for a hit and run case and served about 45 minutes in jail, he went on a Twitter rant announcing that his upcoming album, X, would “probably” be his last. He tweeted:
“Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it. Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.”
We’re guessing Breezy has reached a limit of how much more backlash he can take surrounding his incident with Rihanna in 2009. While many have forgiven him, several others have not. A Canadian music festival recently lost a list of sponsors because he was scheduled to appear.
X is scheduled for release on August 20…if it is in fact his last album (we doubt it), we hope it’s a good one!
