Dallas radio personality David “Kidd” Kraddick (@KiddKraddick) died at the age of 53 Saturday in New Orleans. Kraddick passed away at a charity golf event for his Kidd’s Kids charity organization at Timberlane County Club in Gretna, Louisiana.
Kraddick is considered a staple of North Texas radio and was the host for his nationally syndicated “Kidd Kraddick in the Morning” which airs locally at 100.3 FM in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Ironically last week during a comedy segment in his morning show, Kraddick discussed “what he would say to each member of the show in his final moments on earth.” He then spent several moments saying goodbye to each host.

Kraddick was divorced with one daughter. The cause of his death has not been released.
