I recently shared my Fall Bucket List with you and I’m proud to say that we’re one week in and I’ve already started knocking my list items off! *pats myself on the back*
After I stopped breastfeeding, I picked up a new habit. I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing but I’m sort of kind of addicted to coffee now.
I used to drink it solely for the flavor and the warmth of it because I didn’t think it actually gave me an energy boost or anything like that. But now that I drink at least two cups a day, I must have a cup in the morning. If I don’t, I just feel off.
Anyway, I pretty much drink the same variations every morning – either the Breakfast Blend by Community Coffee, a Blondie from Cups (a local coffee house) or some variation of Starbucks. Honestly though, I think I love the different flavored creamers more than the actual coffee flavors. My favorite creamer right now is the Cold Stone Creamery Sweet Cream by International Delight. It’s SO good!! I don’t have to add any thing else to my cup besides that. (And that’s coming from someone who likes sweet coffee that looks like milk.)
When I attended the housewarming party for the Jefferson Highway RaceTrac location, I was having so much fun sampling the menu that I decided to walk on the wild side and try a new flavor of coffee.
Pumpkin Spice is all the rage during Fall, so it was an easy choice.
I’ve never had pumpkin anything so I didn’t know what to expect. In my head, I kept thinking it would taste like nutmeg…along the lines of a sweet potato pie.
I’m not a pumpkin spice stan but I have to say that it was really good. I added International Delight’s Pumpkin Spice creamer (RaceTrac for the win), no sugar and it was perfect for the ride back home. I would need the energy boost to get my work done.
This marks the second task I’ve completed so far. You can view my entire Fall Bucket List here.
