Scorpio Season: 10/23 – 11/21
I’m so excited that it is FINALLY Scorpio Season! My birthday is November 15 and I am a Scorpio in every sense of the word. In this post, I’ll explain a little about our zodiac symbol, our unique character traits and what we can expect for the remainder of the year.
Many people are skeptical of astrology and whether or not it’s real and I would be too if the description of my sign wasn’t eerily accurate.
Scorpio Fact #1: The Scorpion symbolizes Scorpio, and that is no accident. Much like the Scorpion would rather kill itself than be killed, those born under this sign are in ultimate control of their destiny.
This is so true! Even though God is the head of my life and my destiny is ultimately up to Him, I feel that I have to make things happen for myself. This is a very intense quality and sometimes it doesn’t work in my favor but I can’t help my need for control of my own life. (Ironically, I use to give my control away to others. But that’s another blog topic for another day, LOL!)
Scorpio Fact #2: Fearless Scorpios rarely lose; they just keep on going, since they are stubborn and determined to succeed. Scorpios work as hard as they do so they can someday sit back and feel satisfied with themselves. These folks are intense, passionate and filled with desire. They’re also complex and secretive.
This fact is definitely true for me! One thing you’ll notice about me is that I am extremely fearless as and when it comes to leaping out on faith and going for what I want in life. I am a tireless worker (I rarely have moments of down time) and I do it because I don’t want to look back on my life with woulda’, shoulda’, coulda’s. I am so intense…I go hard at everything – love, work, dreams – just about everything you can imagine. I’m secretive but open at the same time if that makes sense. I’ll share my experiences if I need to vent or if I feel like I’d help someone, but as for my ideas and deepest thoughts, I keep those to myself.
Scorpio Fact #3: This planetary combo makes for people who are motivated, penetrating and aware. Scorpions don’t miss much, since they are highly attuned to the vibrations of others. They are intuitive, probing and very focused on knowing who’s who and what’s what. A Scorpio woman wants her certainties to remain just so – absolutely rock steady and assured. She wants to understand everything and knows how to craft just the right question to obtain the answers she seeks.
Yes! Yes! Yes! I think it’s pretty obvious that I’m motivated, but I don’t miss much at all. I am very observant and I read body language like a pro. I ask lots of questions (which is why I love doing interviews) and I have to know what everything is in my life, it has to fit into a title or in a category or something! This is annoying to some (and myself at times) but I can’t help it. I cannot just let things be undefined in my life.
Scorpio Fact #4: All hail the Scorpio woman, bad word goddess! Her bad wordual prowess and drive are the main characteristics of this sign. A Scorpio woman can set a room full of people on fire with just one half-lidded, come-hither look. She has a high libido and loves giving and receiving sensual pleasure. If you dare to step into her lair, make sure you have the stamina to keep up – Scorpio women are absolute amazons between the sheets.
I thought this fact was funny. No comment though, my mom reads this blog!
Scorpio Fact #5: The great strength of the Scorpio-born is in their determination, passion and motivation. Scorpios don’t know the word quit, which is why they usually get the job done. A powerhouse? Like no other.
I am passionate in everything I do. If there is no passion, I don’t do it. I never quit and I don’t need anyone to motivate me. I am VERY determined to get where I want to be in life and have everything I want to have and that alone is what drives everything I do. It truly is a Scorpio’s greatest strength.
Now, what can we expect for the rest of the year?
Yahoo! Shine tells us:
“You’ve got until October to continue experimenting with what you want out of life; after that, big decisions must be made. Saturn is about to take up residence in your constellation for the first time in nearly 30 years. This planet rules karma, time and integrity, so each of these will be key themes throughout the year.”
According to our horoscope, we also will experience some major changes in our lives in November, particularly with our relationships, but not in a bad way. Our love lives are about to take a “poetic turn” and we only buy into people we have deep, soulful connections with. Hmmm….
Saturn will enter constellation around our birthday, causing us to go through a maturation process (mine has already started) and will cause us to demand and require absolute integrity and commitment in all areas of our lives – especially relationships (yes Lord, I said this the other day).
Time for us to get ready to enjoy our birthdays and prepare for all the great things to come!
