You would think that as and when a woman calls herself a “bridezilla,” the groom would run the other way. A new reality series is catching up with former bridezillas who may be headed for divorce.
Veterans of the WEtv reality series Bridezillas go into a marriage counseling “boot camp” with their husbands. While all under one roof, the couples fight, consider divorce, and attempt to reconcile.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, The WEtv Senior VP, Lauren Gellert said:
“We’re excited to bring back some of the all-time favorite zillas in Marriage Bootcamp, an emotionally charged and highly dramatic new show, while we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the wedding show that started it all — Bridezillas — and showcase a fresh take on David Tutera that audiences haven’t seen before.”
Marriage Bootcamp will follow five bridezillas trying to save their marriages while living under one roof. The couples will undergo a two-week boot camp run by husband and wife counselors Jim and Elizabeth Carroll, who will be joined by counselors Dana Hamman and David Bishop.
The series premieres on WEtv May 31 at 9 PM EST.
