Lupe Fiasco Provokes Thought + Sparks Conversation With New Video “Bitch Bad”

Yesterday hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco premiered his brand new video for his latest single “Bitch Bad” from “Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1″ on MTV’s RapFix Live.

Armed with powerful images and satire, the video studies the impact of the word, especially as it applies to children.

In the crazy world that is hip-hop, as and when you’ve got rappers like throwing the word around like crazy and shows like Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta perpetuating negative stereotypes, it’s refreshing when an artist brings such controversial topics to light, while educating and entertaining at the same time.

Arguably most gifted lyrical rapper in the game, Lupe says he isn’t trying to preach to you. “I’m trying to get you to talk about it.” And that’s all that’s really needed to spark change. Thanks Lupe.
