Fans who were near Weezy have a different account of what happened at the game. Fans claim that Wayne got into an argument with a Heat fan and made a gesture that signaled that he had a gun, which in turn led security to bad word him out.
Wayne has a rep of not liking the Heat, in an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, he said that the players never acknowledge him and that’s where his dislike comes from. Ex-baller Jalen Rose defends Wayne’s resentment toward the team, saying players should show respect to those who pay top dollar for courtside tickets:
“There’s a certain level of etiquette that you have to pay season ticket holders especially if they are celebrities. So if I’m Lil Wayne and I’m paying six figures for some courtside seats at the Miami Heat game, it’ll be cool if the hometown team will just give me a head nod or some dap every now and then. I’m here to represent the squad. Lil Wayne is a mogul, it’s only right to pay respect to Lil Tunechi.”
I don’t know if I agree that the players should respect Wayne because he’s a mogul, but I think they should interact with those who pay for courtside seats, no matter who they are.
