Kevin Hart is arguably the biggest star in Hollywood right now and he’s showing love to his fans, especially those at Texas Southern University in Houston.

The comedian/actor appeared on the Tom Joyner Morning Show as a co-host and to promote his new film, Think Like A Man Too, and revealed that he’d be sending a huge chunk of cash to the university.

On August 1, TSU alumnus Michael Strahan will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. To honor his achievement the university’s marching band, also known as the Ocean of Soul, was invited to participate in the Enshrinement Celebration by leading the Grand Parade through downtown Canton and performing at the Fan Appreciation Tailgate Party on the Hall of Fame campus.

TSU confirmed the news on Twitter.

Michael Strahan donated $100,000 to the marching band to help with their trip to Ohio. The band needed $150,000 to make the trip.
