JessicaSimien.com got an exclusive invite to participate in Julep’s Halloween Nail Art contest that we just couldn’t refuse.
I love nail polish but I’ll admit that I’m not the best at polishing my own nails. Nevertheless, I decided to go with an easy Halloween look that could work for the theme – Ghost Nails.
I started with a clear base coat and then I applied one coat of black polish (similar to Julep’s Cleopatra). To one of my nails, I applied a white color (similar to Julep’s Dana) as the body of the ghost. I then dipped a toothpick into the black polish to make a face for the ghost. I didn’t have any nail art pens because I usually stick to solid shades, so that’s why I used the toothpick. I finished the look off with another clear coat of polish.
Mine are a little messy, but here’s a look put together by Julep if you want to get a little festive with your nails this week. You can also check out some of their nail polish.
