Desmond Moore of Gautier, Mississippi has been missing since August 30, 2014.
Moore was last seen as he left his mother’s house to meet friends at a local Pizza Hut less than a mile away. Lt. Scott Wilson of the Gautier Police Department told Gulf Live that Moore never showed up and no one has heard from him since then.
Family and friends of the 24-year-old gathered together in the parking lot of the Pizza Hut Saturday to hold a candle light vigil. Many had questions and remained confused about what happened to him.
“When he says he’s coming back, he’s coming back, and I just didn’t know none of this was going to happen,” said Moore’s girlfriend, Martonia Jackson, who was at the home Moore left before disappearing.
Police say that there have been leads but none of them have turned out to be successful, however they still have hope. Details about Moore’s disappearance are below.
