Drake is that type of dude who kisses and tells. You can link him to so many different women through his music and his latest track is just another account of his relationship with one of his ladies – this time it’s a chick more famous than he is.
Drake and Rihanna have been publicly linked to one another again since around November of last year and more recently, while he’s been touring in Europe. A day after releasing “Draft Day,” a response to Jay-Z calling him out Drizzy dropped “Days In The East,” produced by PARTYNEXTDOOR (love him!) and Noah “40” Shebib.
“Days In The East” is more singer Drizzy than rap Drizzy and he makes several references to his rockstar girlfriend. He talks about his chick questioning him about other women and how he even got relationship advice from Erykah Badu over tea. He also makes references to Chris Brown and if you still doubt that he’s talking about Rihanna, the track has a brief interpolation of Rihanna’s “Stay.”
