Man Who Served 15 Years For Robbing Store, Robs The SAME Store After Being Released

In today’s Blank Stare News, Christopher Miller is headed back to prison for robbing the same store he robbed to get in jail in the first place!

When Miller was 25-years-old in 1999, he walked into Stride Rite shoe store on Hooper Avenue in Toms River, New Jersey and tied the employees up in a back room and left the scene with cash.

After serving 15 years at South Woods State Prison in Bridgeton, Miller was released Friday.

Police say that Miller, now 40-years-old, took a bus from Atlantic City to Toms River and robbed the same store. Store employees say that he walked in the store, demanded money and after attempting to get employees to go to the back room he became frustrated.

He then grabbed the cash register drawer, which held $389, and the employees’ cell phones and fled the scene on foot.

Police found Miller a few blocks away with the register stashed in a gutter and the phones in a garbage can.

He is being charged with robbery and is being held on a $100,000 bail.
