The violence in Chicago has taken the life of 16-year-old rapper Joseph Coleman aka Lil Jojo.
According to WGNTV the shooting happened Tuesday night. Coleman had been riding a bicycle as and when he was shot at least once. He was found unresponsive on the street by police and after being transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, he was pronounced dead.
Jojo was a member of the Brick Squad clique and had been beefing with another up and coming rapper, Lil Reese, who was a part of Chief Keef’s team.
According to Global Grind, a YouTube video was released just days ago showing Jojo and Reese in an argument. Someone in the video could be heard saying “Imma kill you.”
As the situation continues to tense and escalate, Chief Keef has been tweeting:
-Niggas dry snitching #ShhhhhhhhBrickboyz
-I Kno Da Real Brick Squad #300
-Its Sad Cuz Dat Nigga Jojo Wanted To Be Jus Like Us #LMAO
I feel for the citizens of Chicago, so many young men and women are being killed senselessly.
