Following his tweets about rape, singer Cee Lo Green has been dropped from one of his gigs.
In addition to his TBS television show “The Good Life” being cancelled, Green has been dropped from the list of performers at a Louisiana music festival.
Officials for the Gretna Heritage Festival scheduled for October 5 have decided to drop Green and replace him with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

Miley Cyrus has ruffled some feathers in the online Black community after she posted a questionable photo on Instagram.
The 21-year-old singer is pictured wearing the biggest brown booty pads I’ve ever seen and uploaded the photo to her Instagram account with the caption:
“Ass so fat need a lap dance”
Maybe she thinks what she is doing is cute, funny and even harmless. But it is in fact disturbing, degrading and a rehashing of the same tired stereotypes about Black women and our bodies. Her actions can’t even be considered envy, filed under the ‘she wishes she were Black’ category, because everything is done with a tone of mockery and not appreciation.
Some may say that Miley’s post was harmless, but I don’t know…seems like a mockery to me. What are your thoughts?
