After a limousine erupted into flames while taking nine women to a bachelorette party in San Francisco, five women were killed including the bride-to-be and four bridesmaids.
According to a California Highway Patrol officer, the limo caught fire around 10 p.m. Saturday while traveling on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge on San Francisco Bay, trapping five women. The other four women were able to escape the vehicle as it came to a stop.
The driver of the limo, 46-year-old Orville Brown, was the only person who escaped the incident unharmed. The five women who were trapped were pronounced dead at the scene.
