A 13-year-old Georgia boy was found alive after being reported missing for four years.
After receiving a tip from the boy’s mother, he was discovered by Clayton County police officers in Jonesboro, an Atlanta suburb, hidden behind a fake wall.
The boy’s father, Gregory Jean, 37, and stepmother, Samantha Joy Davis, 42, were charged with false imprisonment and child cruelty. They made their first court appearance at the Clayton County jail Sunday morning. Davis is accused of striking the boy with a stick across various parts of his body.
The judge denied bond for Jean and Davis and the two are set to appear in court again on December 9. The boy was reunited with his mother Saturday morning.
