Cleopatra used honey to moisturize her skin and now you can too!
Honey, more commonly known for its use on food and in tea, can also be used as an exfoliant and a moisturizer for your skin. Honey naturally contains vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that promote new tissue growth and battle signs of aging.
-1 bowl of warm water
Depending on the type of honey that you use, it may be solid. If so, just place the jar of honey in a bowl of warm water for 5-10 minutes.
Remove the jar from the water and stir to loosen the honey. Use your finger tips to rub a thin layer of honey on your face. Let the mask sit for 20 minutes until your face becomes tightened. Gently rinse face with warm water to remove. Afterwards, your face should feel firmer and smoother. The honey mask can be done daily.
Note: Make sure you do a small skin test before using honey all over your face, as honey may cause irritation depending on your skin type.
