A walk through your local mall may seem like we skipped Thanksgiving and went right on to Christmas but there are many of us who love Thanksgiving and are very much in the spirit of the holiday.
As a matter of fact, Thanksgiving is (and has always been) my favorite holiday. The energy that you feel this time of year is so warm, electric and one-of-a-kind. I love being able to fellowship with my family and loved ones over great food.
This year I decided that I’m going to prepare a dish and I wanted to share some of the dessert recipes I’m considering with you.
Check them out below.
Snicker Caramel Apple Pie
Who can resist the combination of green apples and caramel? We’re not even going to talk about adding Snickers to the mix! This dish is super easy to prepare and doesn’t require any baking. You can find and print the recipe here.

Apple Pie Salsa with Cinnamon Sugar Chips
Here’s another recipe that utilizes the American fall staple – fresh apples. It requires you to prepare the apples on the stove and bake your homemade chips in the oven but I’m willing to bet that it’s worth the work. View the recipe here.

Pumpkin Cheesecake Dip
I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin flavored foods but I love cheesecake. Just looking at the photo makes me want to try it NOW. I imagine that you could eat this with vanilla wafers and not all the other foods but I guess it’s up to you and whatever you like. Check out the recipe here.

Vanilla Apple Cupcakes with Apple Cider Buttercream Frosting
This recipe screams fall and Thanksgiving. It’s a unique combination that I’d only try if I was feeling brave. If you’re not into baking everything for scratch you’re in luck because this recipe uses boxed cupcake mix. View it here.

Salted Caramel and Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars
Although this list is short and sweet, it wouldn’t be complete with a recipe that uses pecans! Nothing says Thanksgiving like a pecan pie recipe but this one is just as good. Save yourself from cleaning up a mess of pie crust by making pecan pie bars instead. View and save the recipe when you click here.
