3 New Atlanta Based Reality Shows To Air On Bravo + NeNe And Kim Exchange Twitter Jabs

If you love reality TV, you’ll be thrilled to know that Bravo has added three new reality shows to their line-up. Here’s the scoop on the shows.

Don’t Be Tardy for the Party – Of course this show will feature former Atlanta housewife, 34-year-old Kim Zolciak and her hubby 27-year-old Kroy Biermann of the Atlanta Falcons. This show explains why Kim is no longer an official cast member of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. If I remember correctly, there was a season one of this show where they showed Kim and Kroy preparing for their wedding. Since they used the title of Kim’s song that she remade with Kandi, I wonder if we’ll get to see her continuing her pursuit of becoming a country artist.

Kim and her ex-BFF NeNe Leakes exchanged jabs via Twitter following the announcement of the show.

Kim responded with:

I’ll admit…Kim does have a point. Why would they fire her for having a bad attitude, then hire her again and promote her to having her own show? It’s also very possible that the two were paid to create this drama to hype up Kim’s show.

Married to Medicine – This show will feature rich women who are connected to medicine in Atlanta either through their own career or through their husbands.

Taking Atlanta – Produced by Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Mona Scott Young, Taking Atlanta is supposed to feature young Atlanta socialites, movers and shakers. This show kind of reminds me of the show BET had about the socialites in Harlem. I can’t remember the name of it, but it seems like it’ll be along those lines.

I’m a little tired of shows coming out of Atlanta. We’ve seen enough! I’d love to see young people making moves in less popular (in terms of the media) cities. There are lots of successful people in the country, let’s give Atlanta a rest.

Do you plan to watch any of these shows? Would you like to see more of Atlanta?
